Every day you discover something new in this world. That’s part of life; observe, discover and learn. However, the discovery that made researchers recently maritime, is far from what people expected. A specialized dolphins group found a copy breathing through the mouth and not his hole, behavior never before seen in dolphins.
Steve Dawson of the University of Otago in New Zealand , was studying a small dolphin from shore when they noticed that the animal came to the surface every time I needed to breathe. In addition, it was a sucking sound and had closed the hole through which often oxygenate all dolphins.
You need to remember that while dolphins are mammals that live in water, need oxygen like all other animals, and they get the air through their holes. Steve Dawson told New Scientist that this form of breathing is difficult for dolphins and that this, in particular, was the only known so far to breathe through the mouth. However, he noted that not in poor health or much less.
“The dolphin is in excellent health and looks completely normal. Except for this strange method you use to breathe. But clearly works for him , ” Dawson said.
