The pumpkin is ideal for preparing cakes and desserts because it has a slightly sweet flavor that enhances the palatability of any recipe, and banana gives flavor and texture. It’s the perfect combination!

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cubed and at room temperature
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large, ripe, mashed bananas facts
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons instant espresso powder
- 3 large eggs
- 1 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
- 6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
In a bowl combine the butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and beat with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes. Add the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1 tablespoon espresso powder, stir until all ingredients are well combined. Finally, add the eggs and mix well.
In another smaller bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt and 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice. Then add these dry ingredients to wet and mix with a spatula until uniform mass.
Take another bowl, combine the cream cheese and the rest of the brown sugar, vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon espresso and other spices. Mixture with electric mixer for 2 minutes.
Pour half of the mixture into a greased and spread it evenly mold, and placed above a layer of half the cream cheese mixture and with a spoon spirals beam with the preparation. Then place the remaining mixture, and over the rest of the cream cheese, doing the same with the spoon to give it texture.
Bake for about 1 hour, or until the bread is cooked. Let bread cool in pan for at least 20 minutes, then flip the bread, and you can cut slices and serve.
