In today’s world it is quite praises mothers “ideal”. These models or actresses who after giving birth to wear their “perfect bodies” in which not notice at all that were nine months carrying a man and faced childbirth . These stereotypes are disturbing women mothers today. Mothers with real bodies, filled with marks for having carried in her womb to one of the most important people in your life.
Bodies streaked with scars and cellulite. Bodies not have those characteristics are not beautiful, they are also a reflection of the strength and fortitude of a woman. Unfortunately, many women still feel the pressure of society and are ashamed of their post – delivery bodies. They hide in their homes, in their extremely baggy clothes are left to feel beautiful and even do not want to pose for family photographs.
Therefore, these two photographers of Alberta, Aimee and Jenna Hobbs decided to fight this trend and wanted to photograph the bodies of women mothers in the rough. Proving that what society calls “defects” are nothing more than vestiges of beautiful process maternity.
They began their campaign with intimate photographs of women carrying their babies, demonstrating the joy of motherhood and childbirth reality post body.
The idea is that with this campaign and photographs will be shown in social networks, women feel identified and accompanied. So far, have captured 80 mothers from 21 to 50 years. And they want tocontinue shooting mothers of all ages, young, adult, grandmothers and so portray its beauty.
