With only 14 years, Stephanie Kurlow has made history. After deciding to opt for the Islamic faith at age 9, his passion for ballet was in danger. Because of their religion, Stephanie had to use their Hijab throughout the day, and that apparently was not accepted in any of the academies of dance of their city.
This girl did not want to give up, and knew he had to fight to get what he wanted, but that would mean a lot of work. But his perseverance helped her, and his 14 years has managed to change the world.
Besides being the first professional dancer to dance with Hijab, also he wants to help others fulfill their dreams and pursue his true passion. For that, expects to open a ballet school for different groups of children regardless of race or religion.
To achieve an end to these prejudices and be even closer to creating your school has initiated a fundraiser in which hopes to collect about $ 10,000 which will cover: private ballet classes and tutors. It will also serve as support for buying clothes ballet. And hopes to enter different dance competitions.
When talent, perseverance and passion come together there is no way to stop it.
